Bravo Turns the Cameras on the Audience in New Limited Series

Bravo Media enters the living rooms of households and turns the cameras around — watching them watch TV — on the new half-hour unscripted series, “The People’s Couch” airing at 11:30pm ET/PT on Sunday, October 6, October 13 and October 20. Based on the successful UK show, “Gogglebox,” “The People’s Couch” is a new three-episode, limited series that features real people watching and commenting on popular shows and news from the past week. Bravo will deliver the buzziest water-cooler moments of the Fall television season by showcasing avid TV watchers in their homes, as they laugh, cry, talk, gasp, and scream at their TVs.

Each episode will feature the same homes as they watch and react to this season’s most talked-about new and returning series. Whether it is a group of sorority sisters doing their nails or grandparents watching with their technology-obsessed grandchildren, each group will bring their hilarious, unique commentary about TV’s hottest moments to the small screen.

September 12, 2013 (Santa Monica, CA) – GSN announced today that the network has ordered eight episodes of the new original series SKIN WARS, an hour-long competition show that seeks to find the most talented and versatile body painters in the country. SKIN WARS will premiere on GSN in 2014.

HGTV Building Slate of “Dream Lifestyle” Programming

Originally launched as two half-hour specials, Island Hunters focused on homebuyers looking for a slice of paradise on their own private island. More than 3 million P25-54 viewers tuned-in to the specials, making Island Hunters one of the highest-rated programs of 2013, while the first season of sun-soaked Hawaii Life drew more than 15 million P25-54 viewers.

On track to deliver the same success as Island Hunters, Living Alaska drew more than 2.5 million P25-54 viewers with its sneak preview on Sunday, August 18. The show documents potential homebuyers as they determine if they can handle a home in the beautiful northern wilderness and includes glimpses of the endless natural scenery from Juneau to Anchorage and the Kodiak Islands to Halibut Cove. The network will premiere 14 half-hour episodes of the series in 2014.

Caribbean Life, a series of six half-hour episodes follows house hunters leaving the mainland behind in search of a mellow Caribbean existence is sure to appeal to viewers who dream of white sand, palm trees and ocean breezes. NBC Sports Network presents Hooked Up with Tom Colicchio, a new 30-minute outdoor fishing show featuring chef/owner of Craft restaurants and head judge of Bravo’s Top Chef Tom Colicchio and guests in various fishing locations in the United States. The five-part series premieres with back-to-back episodes on Wednesday, July 31, beginning at 7 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Network. The premiere features Super Bowl XLII champion and Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Plaxico Burress and Colicchio as they search for fish in the Florida Everglades and talk football and family. In the second episode of Hooked Up, at 7:30 p.m. ET, Colicchio talks to Jane’s Addiction frontman and Lollapalooza founder Perry Farrell and his wife Etty Lau.

On Wednesday, August 7, Hooked Up again debuts back-to-back episodes on NBC Sports Network.
